Equus Run Vineyards has bottled a private label wine, a Bacchus Blush, for the African American Forum’s 2008 presentation of Smooth Jazz on Saturday, Aug. 2.
The private label bottle is available at the vineyard in a limited quantity of 500 numbered bottles. Proceeds go to the Forum’s Capital Campaign Fund.
This year’s Smooth Jazz Series at Equus Run features the contemporary jazz band Pieces of a Dream. Gates open at 4 p.m., followed by dinner from 5 to 7 p.m., and the concert begins at 7:30 p.m.
The $20 private label Bacchus Blush goes on sale today (July 30) and will be available exclusively at Equus Run Vineyards now through the end of August. This is the first private label of a three-part series, with the second and third private label bottles scheduled to be released in 2009 and 2010. This private label wine features the artwork of Gary R. Bibbs, a professor at the University of Kentucky.
