Pace Foods has a new line of five specialty salsas that are made with a combination of ingredients that include guajillo peppers, queso blanco and asadero cheeses, tomatillos and real blue agave tequila.
They are:
Tequila lime salsa — Real tequila from blue agave cooked down to concentrate the flavor, and then added to hand-selected jalapeño peppers, onions and the best tomatillos, topped off with just a hint of lime juice.
Triple pepper salsa — A bold, rich salsa featuring green chili, serrano and guajillo peppers.
Salsa verde —Hand-selected jalapeños and chunks of tomatillos, seasoned with a splash of lime and spiked with smoked Spanish paprika.
Pico de gallo — Inspired by the classic, with chunks of hand-picked jalapeños, onions, and diced tomatoes and a touch of fresh cilantro.
Mexican four cheese salsa con queso — This queso is packed with four distinctive cheeses – Monterey Jack, Cheddar, Asadero and Queso Blanco — and a blend of jalapeños, sweet red peppers and onion.

If you like cream cheese with your bagels, Kraft’s Bagel-fuls are rolled with cream cheese in the center. They come in five varieties:
Original (plain bagel with plain cream cheese)
Cinnamon (cinnamon and brown sugar bagel with cinnamon cream cheese)
Whole grain (whole grain bagel with plain cream cheese)
Strawberry (plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese)
Chive (plain bagel with chive cream cheese)
A recent survey from Kraft showed that more than half of all moms are more likely to skip breakfast than any other meal and that 60 percent of moms would eat breakfast more often if they could take their favorite options on-the-go. Bagel-fuls can be prepared in less than two minutes with no plates, mess or effort.
The product has a Sensible Solution green flag on the package to acknowledge that Bagel-fuls are a good source of calcium and seven other vitamins and minerals. It has 200 calories (or less), 6 g of fat (or less), 220 mg of sodium (or less) and 0 g trans fat per serving.

Uncle Ben’s has added two new flavors to its lineup:
Long grain & wild rice herb roasted chicken features chicken, a variety of spices and the perfect mix of corn.
Long grain & wild rice sun-dried tomato Florentine combines spinach, tomatoes and whole wheat berries.
According to a recent study from The NDP Group, the top food and nutrient Americans want to add to their meal plans are whole grains and fiber. Uncle Ben’s new varieties are made with whole grains and are a good source of fiber, providing three grams per serving. The two rice options also have 0 grams of trans fat, are low in cholesterol, and contain essential minerals.
Pillsbury introduces:
Reduced sugar milk chocolate brownie mix.
Reduced sugar chocolate fudge brownie mix.

Here’s a recipe you can use with the new Pace salsa products.
6 ounces Chorizo sausage, crumbled
2 tablespoons finely diced green peppers
2 tablespoons finely diced red onions
1/4 cup red enchilada sauce
2 tablespoons Mexican dipping cheese or queso dip with jalapenos
1/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
15 Athens® Mini Fillo Shells (1 box)
Cilantro, for garnish
In a medium sauté pan, fry Chorizo sausage until done, then drain. Mix the cooked sausage, green peppers, red onions and enchilada sauce together. Spoon 1 rounded tablespoon of the mixture into each Fillo Shell. Drizzle Mexican dipping cheese over the shells and top with shredded cheese. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 5 to 7 minutes. Garnish with cilantro. Serve immediately. Makes 15 appetizers.
