2 pounds boneless top sirloin steak, trimmed
1 tablespoon garlic salt
1 tablespoon Southwest chipotle seasoning
Preheat a gas grill to high. Remove all visible fat from the steak. Slice the steak into six smaller steaks. Sprinkle the steaks evenly with garlic salt and chipotle seasoning.
Pierce the steaks with a fork to tenderize the meat and incorporate the seasonings into the steak.
Place the steaks at a 45-degree angle on the preheated grill. Press the steaks firmly with tongs to create grill marks into the meat. Close the lid of grill and cook the steaks over high heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Rotate steaks to create diamond-shaped grill marks. Press the steaks firmly with the tongs to sear the grill marks into the meat.
Close lid of grill and cook the steaks over high heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Rotate steaks and cook another 2 to 3 minutes.
