Ouita Michel, chef/owner of Holly Hill Inn in Midway, is packing up her iron skillets and heading to the farm to cook fresh vegetables straight from the field.Holly Hill Inn is holding its second annual Provencal dinner at 7 p.m. Saturday at Lee Ann and Richard Jones’ farm in Frankfort.The menu features crispy squash blossoms, corn fritters, locally raised chicken and pork chops, and a variety of vegetables fresh from the field.Cost is $35 a person. Directions from Lexington: From I-64 West, take Exit 65 (Midway). Turn left to go over the bridge, then right onto U.S. 421 (Leestown Road). Travel about 6 miles, then turn right onto Hickman Hill Road. The farm is at the end of the road, about 1 mile. Watch for signs.
