The Kentucky Fudge Co. in Harrodsburg offers a lot more than fudge. Located in Dedman Drug Store, the café is best known for its sodas and hand-dipped ice cream, and grilled-cheese sandwiches.
The specialty sandwich is the Harrodsburger, an oatmeal burger. “We’re just a general soups-and-sandwiches kind of place,” said Jennifer Kazimer, who owns the café with her husband, Tim.
The fudge is made in small batches; flavors include milk chocolate, dark chocolate, peanut butter, Kentucky bourbon, cherry cordial and rum chunk.
The café at 225 South Main Street is open 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Call (859) 733-0088 or go to www.kentuckyfudgecompany.com.
